KidsFLOOR®–1K is a revolutionary flooring system developed in ANILO’s R&D laboratories, based on advanced technology and designed in full compliance with child safety and hygiene standards.
This 100% fully aliphatic, single-component, solvent-free, highly hydrophobic, polyurethane-based liquid coating system delivers a seamless and jointless application. It ensures maximum safety and comfort for all environments where children are present thanks to its exceptional properties including high elasticity, UV resistance, color stability, and superior resistance to chemical and thermal abrasion.
KidsFLOOR®–1K is a single-component polyurethane-based high-elasticity coating system with a fully aliphatic structure. Once cured, it forms a durable yet highly elastic surface that does not yellow over time. The product has been specifically developed for situations that demand both high color stability and single-layer application. This single-coat approach not only reduces labor costs but also eliminates common issues related to interlayer adhesion failures in multi-layer applications.
KidsFLOOR®–1K is self-leveling and offers an optimal viscosity profile across a wide temperature range. It cures into a bubble-free, flawless coating applied in a single layer.
The product will retain its color stability even when applied in dark colors, and especially when applied in white it will have excellent solar reflectance for many years.

Substrate Preparation
For maximum adhesion and long-term durability, the substrate must be clean, sound, and free from dust, loose particles, paint residues, wax, oil, rust, or any other contaminants that may hinder bonding.
To improve surface quality, mechanical surface preparation is recommended. This involves grinding the surface with a diamond disc, followed by thorough cleaning with an industrial vacuum to ensure complete dust removal. Existing cracks and surface irregularities should be repaired using suitable repair materials before application to ensure a smooth and stable substrate.
Priming: If the application surface consists of concrete, wood, metal, ceramic, or non-porous substrates such as glazed tiles, a primer must be applied to enhance adhesion. In such cases, the use of Primer D-1K is highly recommended.
Coloring: All RAL colors are available.
The product can be colored using powdered pigments. The pigment should be added and mixed thoroughly with a low-speed (300 rpm) electric mixer until a smooth and consistent texture is obtained.
KidsFLOOR®–1K Application Instructions (Self-Leveling System) Single-coat application is possible. Can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 1 to 10 mm depending on requirements. The recommended minimum thickness is 3 mm. The product should be applied to the surface using an appropriate notched trowel and squeegee to control the application thickness. After application, it cures into a seamless, bubble-free, and flawless coating in a single layer.
